About Bus Times

Bus Times turns official transit schedule data into timetables that are quick to read on a phone — the whole day for a route on one screen, with the next bus highlighted.

Where the times come from

Every timetable is generated from the operator’s own published schedule data (GTFS). For British Columbia that is BC Transit’s open data, used under BC Transit’s open data terms. Nothing is typed in by hand, and each page says when its data was last refreshed.

What it is not

Bus Times is independent. It is not run by, affiliated with or endorsed by BC Transit or any local government, and it shows scheduled times, not live bus positions. For detours, cancellations and service alerts, use the operator’s own website or app.

Who makes it

Bus Times is built by Shivrajsinh Zala, a web developer who builds transit and timetable tools.
